I recently built my first PC and was hesitant to overclock because I didn’t want to break anything and didn’t think it would make much difference. My goal for this post is to convince a beginner PC builder (like myself) to try overclocking their graphics card and give the most basic steps to do so.

What you're doing now is adding 135mhz to the GPU's core clock and 600mhz to its memory clock.
In fact, you're not overclocking the CPU, but rather the Graphics Card (GPU). The first being MSI Afterburner doesn't overclock the CPU. This is an interesting question for a number of reasons.
